A leading innovator in health and health care improvement worldwide needs a Business Analyst to pan, design, develop, and launch efficient projects for selection, implementation and operation of business applications in support of core organizational functions and business processes.  The role includes a strong emphasis on stakeholder engagement and vendor management. Responsibilities and Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Plans and coordinates complex IT projects through all key phases: needs identification, market analysis and solution selection, implementation, testing, adoption and operation.
  • Works with project working groups, subject-matter experts and IT staff to define and prioritize requiremtns.
  • Plan project lifecycle, define resources, goals, milestons and schedule for project implementation in collaboratin with members of the IT team.
  • Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.
  • Directs and oversees project working groups and manages conflicts with in group.
  •  Performs team assessments and evaluations.
  • Efficiently identifies and solves or escalates project issues.
  • Demonstrates leadership to define requirements for project risk.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a major in business, project management or information technology and/or other related project focused disciplines.
  • Deep expertise and a minimum of 5 years experience in gathering requirements , functional design, use cases and UAT.
  • Non-profit experience is advantageous but not required.
  • Proven experience with the systems implementation life-cycle – overseeing the selection, configuration, implementation and adoption of software solutions, systems, or products.
  • Working technical knowledge of ERP, Enterprise Resource Planning, and CRM, Constituent Relationship Management, application software configuration.
  • Technically competent with various software programs such as MS office applications and Visio.
  • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Performs analysis of business activities to determine business requirements.  Works with business users to understand and define needs above and beyond requirements provided by the business.  Converts business requirements into functional specifications.  Works closely with the project managers, business users, QA developers, and other technology professionals to ensure that project deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
  • Using currently documented workflows and control points, work with traders, risk operations and the CRD implementation team to build and configure new workflows that meet the needs of the business as well as eliminate or minimize existing pain points while still maintaining necessary control points.  Document new workflows.
  • Provide a third party perspective on the workflows and other implementation details to ensure the firm is choosing the best implementation details possible.
  • Work with BA, development and QA teams to ensure existing application integrations are working as designed, including ensuing all data elements are being loaded and displayed properly.
  • Work with PM team to ensure we are following the project plan and meeting deliverable dates.
  • Additional Responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business or technology related field.
  • Minimum of five to seven years’ experience in the financial services industry, supporting by-side technology, specifically with equity trading.
  • Experience implementing Charles River Developer Investment Management System – with a preference for someone who has worked at CRD as an implementation manger/specialist and has worked on a hosted implementation.
  • Broad background in trading including but not limited to trading systems, execution management systems, order management, etc.
