Responsiblities and Qualifications

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate complex IT projects through all key phases: needs identification, market analysis and solution selection, implementation, testing, adoption and operations.
  • Work with project working groups, subject-matter experts and IT staff to define and prioritize requirements.
  • Plan project life-cycle, define resources, goals, millstones and schedule for project implementation in collaboration with members of the IT team.
  • Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.
  • Direct and oversee project working groups and manage conflicts within the groups
  • Perform team assessments and evaluations.
  • Efficiently identify and solve or escalate project issues.
  • Demonstrate leadership to define requirements for project risk.

Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree with a major in business, project management or information technology and/or other related project focused discipline.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certified will provide a candidate with a significant advantage but is not a requirement for the position.
  • Minimum of 5 years in managing multiple complex projects, including all aspects of process development and execution.
  • Non-profit experience will provide a candidate with a significant advantage but is not a requirement.
  • Proven experience with the systems implementation lifecycle – overseeing the selection, configuration, implementation, and adoption of software solutions, systems or products.
  • Working technical knowledge of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and CRM (Constituent Relationship Management) application software configuration.
  • Strong familiarity with project management software, such as MS Project
